Welcome our new intern, Roychele!9 min read
I’m pleased to welcome Roychele to the awesome iGina intern team. Last week, I asked her to answer a few questions about her background and internship goals to introduce her to our community. Over to you, Roychele!
What’s your name, where do you come from?
Hi, my name is Roychele and I came from Laguna, Philippines. It’s a province famous for its lush rainforest, hot springs, and coconut pies.
What’s your story?
I came to the Netherlands 7 years ago to study International Business Management.
The first few months here in the Netherlands were an exciting adventure, and even now I still find new things to learn about the country and its culture. I’ve always wanted to learn more about the business world and its ever-changing atmosphere and industry.
Tell us a little-known fact about you
My hobbies include playing video games, I am an avid reader, but I mostly read thriller/horror and the occasional non-fiction novels, as well as comic books. I also enjoy playing with my two dogs and long walks. I occasionally doodle and draw when I am in the mood.
What will you bring to the iGina team?
Branding and marketing is an interesting part of a business, so as an intern, I’m looking forward to seeing how this fits in. I’m excited to see how what I’ve learned in my classes can be applied in the iGina office, as well as learning new skills on the job.
Anything else you’d like to add?
Being part of iGina will give me the unique opportunity to really see how brand marketing works up close. I hope to learn a lot and in return, I hope that I can be a productive member of the team.
As the newest intern, I was given the opportunity to work on a new project called the Alchemy Library. I will be working on creating an online archive for all the useful tips, templates, and documents that will help the clients when they are in a pinch.
Join us in giving Roychele a really warm welcome!
